Norfolk County, Ontario – June 5, 2026 — The ParticipACTION Community Challenge,
presented by Novo Nordisk, is back this June, encouraging Canadians to get active and enjoy the
physical, social, and mental health benefits of movement.
Communities across Canada will compete for the title of Canada’s Most Active Community and a
$100,000 grand prize to support local physical activity and sport initiatives.
The Norfolk Family Health Team is encouraging residents, organizations, workplaces, schools,
and community groups to participate throughout June and help Norfolk County earn this
recognition.
Organizations can register and track participation in their physical activity programs and events,
while groups of two or more people can sign up and log their activities to contribute to Norfolk
County’s total. ParticipACTION – Home – ParticipACTION
