Capital Expansion

We’re delighted to share some very exciting news about the Norfolk Family Health Team. As many of you are aware, we have almost completed the development of a 5-year Strategic Plan. This new plan represents an important focus on an increase of health services.

Among those strategic choices, the Ministry of Health (MOH) approved and funded the Norfolk Family Health Team’s Capital Expansion Project, to expand and provide increased services throughout Norfolk County. This means a relocation of the Norfolk Family health Team’s main location from our Delhi office at 105 Main St., to our newly renovated location at 185 Robinson St, Simcoe. This move aligns with our strategic goals and future plans for growth that will further enhance our service offerings in our community. At our new location, clients will continue to experience high quality care and compassion, in an inclusive environment.

This new location will not only provide our organization with a modern physical space but also an opportunity to welcome new and old patients into our programs and services. We have recently expanded our Talk-In Clinic (walk-in counselling services) and our Norfolk Prenatal and Newborn Clinics which will be offering well-baby visits and immunizations up to 6 years old. Our dedicated team will be able to grow and evolve in a stronger, healthier, mission-driven organizational culture marked by engaged, skilled, passionate, and impactful employees. We will continue our work to achieve a positive impact in the lives of our patients that will secure our future as a leading provider of health care services.

Moving to a new location can be a daunting task that requires the collaborative effort of many people. We are extremely grateful for the input, time and effort contributed by our clients, community partners, volunteers, Board of Directors, staff, and management team to make all of this possible. With your dedication and support we will continue to promote services that provide a welcoming, high quality, and seamless experience.

We will be fully operational for all services in October of 2024 (this is subject to change due to project delays) at our Simcoe office and we welcome you to our new office. We will continue to provide services at all of our satellite sites which will now include Delhi.
