Primary Care Access Clinic
Care Options for Residents Without a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner
Supporting Our Community with Accessible Primary Care. Are you a resident of Brantford, Brant, or Norfolk who doesn’t currently have a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner?
The BBN Primary Care Access Clinic has been created to help! This temporary clinic provides essential, non-emergency healthcare services for individuals in our community who are currently unattached to a primary care provider.
About the Clinic
The BBN Primary Care Access Clinic is a collaborative initiative operated by:
- Grand River Community Health Centre
- Norfolk Family Health Team
- PrimaCare Family Health Team
This initiative is proudly funded by the Brantford, Brant, Norfolk Ontario Health Team (BBN OHT) working together to improve access to care across our region.
Please Note: This is not a walk-in clinic. Appointments must be booked in advance.
Who Can Access the Clinic?
You are eligible if you:
- Live or work in Brantford, Brant, or Norfolk
- Do not have a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner
Services Available
The BBN OHT Primary Care Access Clinic offers pre-booked appointments for non-emergency health concerns, such as:
- Minor Illnesses
- Colds, sore throats, urinary tract infections, skin rashes
- Minor Injuries
- Sprains, strains, and other mild injuries
- Bloodwork Requisitions
- Sexual Health Care
- Cancer Screening
- Prenatal Care
- Vaccinations
- Prescription renewals (excluding narcotics)
- Specialist Referrals
- Chronic Disease Management
If your concern isn’t listed, please contact the clinic to discuss how the care team may assist.
Important: This clinic does not provide urgent or emergency care.
For emergencies, please call 911 or visit your nearest Emergency Department.

- Emergency or urgent care
- Certain medical forms (e.g., employer, insurance, driver’s license, disability applications)
- Prescription renewals for narcotics
