Foot Care

  • The Norfolk Family Health Team foot care program and foot care nurses can provide personalized care and foot health education to clients of all ages. Our program can address concerns related to foot health in those who suffer from chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis and circulation problems. Foot care services can also be beneficial to those who face mobility issues, visual decline and coordination concerns that make clipping toenails and performing self-care to the feet difficult.
  • A typical foot care appointment includes a foot assessment, cutting and filing of toenails, preventative care (education) and the opportunity to address other concerns. Our foot care nurses can care for corns, calluses, ingrown nails and thickened nails. Referral to other health professionals can also be done.
  • Patients rostered with one of our physicians will see nurse Addison. Patients of one of the NFHT community programs will see nurse Jill. If you are interested in being seen in the foot care clinic or require more information, our specific program can be reached at 519-582-2323 extension 246. The foot care program has appointments available in our Simcoe, Delhi and Port Rowan offices.
  • The fee per appointment is $30.00. Please be advised that the office in Simcoe accepts debit, credit and cash payment, while the offices in Port Rowan and Delhi are cash or cheque only.
